Steven Hon Rocks found a new lead singer: Tamara Kaiser Brown joins the band

It took us a lot of time and in the end it was a really tough decision, but finally we found our new lead singer: Tamara Kaiser Brown from Richmond, London. Although she is only 19 years old she already has several years of band experience. Amongst others she was lead singer of The Flying Monkeys, who broke up just a few months ago. Tamara is a huge fan of Punk and Indie Rock and has an amazing voice, what makes her the perfect Lead singer for Steven Hon Rocks.

Casting: Lead singer Steven Hon Rocks – 10/04/2010

Sorry for letting you wait so long. It was much more difficult to find a location for our first casting than I expected. But here are the details:

Location: The Crown, Chalton Street 166, NW1  2LP (in the Honk Kong Room upstairs)

Time: 7p.m.

Criteria:

• age: 18 to 25 years
• very good singing voice
• talent
• former band experience would be appreciated
• affinity to Rock and Indy Rock music

WANTED: New lead singer for Steven Hon Rocks – Isabel is leaving the band

Unfortunately our recent lead singer Isabel decided that she will move to Germany at the end of May. She will still be in the band until that date and also play on all of our next gigs, but as it will not be easy to find a new lead singer we already start looking for one. So if you are 18 to 25 years old, love rock music, have a great voice and would like to be a member of Steven Hon Rocks just get in contact with us. We also might have a first casting by the end of next week, but we have to find a location for it first. Steven Hon Rocks at Clapham

As I mentioned in my last post Steven Hon Rocks had a gig last weekend at Clapham. We had a lot af fun there and the people were just amazing. There was so much energy!!

I don’t know yet, when exactly our next gig is. It will probably be at the first weekend in april in a bar near Holborn, but that is not 100 percent sure yet. I will let you know as soon as I know more.

Steven Hon Rocks is a Rock Band from London

If you are wondering about the name of my blog … well … it’s the name of my band. Steven Hon Rocks is a band of five musicians from London: guitarist Keith McNamara, bassist and backing vocalist Michael Brown, drummer Dave Smith, lead singer Isabel G. and me Steven Hon – I am vocalist and guitarist. Every weekend we play Rock (mainly punk rock, but also Indie rock) here in London. You find us mainly in the clubs and bars in Brixton and Soho, but sometimes also in some pubs in Chelsea and Kensington. I myself am a huge fan of Green Day. I just love their music!! My favorite album of Green Day is American Idiot. My favorite song? That´s easy: Jesus of Suburbia. We might not be as good as Green Day, but we also play some good Rock.
